volunteering: It's your responsibility
Parents play a crucial role at Two Rivers Community School. Their ability to understand and embrace the school’s mission, to share its core values, and to fully support its curriculum, teachers, and staff are key elements to the program’s success. All parents, are expected to become an active part of their child’s TRCSs experience by committing to a minimum of 4 hours per month.
From volunteer help to philanthropic efforts, sharing special talents, and leading committees, TRCS parents are highly valued and actively involved members of the school community. In order to volunteer in a classroom, on campus, or as a chaperone one must complete a background check.
VOLUNTEER COMMITTEES & Support Areas:
There are myriad ways throughout the year to support TRCS students and the school.
TRCS Parent Teacher Network
The Two Rivers Community School Parent Teacher Network is the parent teacher association that includes every parent or guardian of a current TRCS student. The Parent Teacher Network strives to involve parents in meaningful ways to best support the educational experience of every student at TRCS.
In addition to participating in some of the Parent Teacher Network fundraising and community building activities, parents are invited to stop by our offices for a visit, travel alongside our students and teachers on field trips and offer their time in the classroom. We hope you feel just as much a part of the TRCS community as the students are.
