Parents play a crucial role at Two Rivers Community School. Their ability to understand and embrace the school’s mission, to share its core values, and to fully support its curriculum, teachers, and staff are key elements to the program’s success. All parents, are encouraged to become an active part of their child’s TRCS experience. We request that you commit to 4 hours of volunteer work per month, per family. Of course we understand that this is not possible for all families.

From volunteer help to philanthropic efforts, sharing special talents, and leading committees, TRCS parents are highly valued and actively involved members of the school community. In order to volunteer in a classroom, on campus, or as a driver/chaperone one must complete a background check.

TRCS Parent Teacher Network

The Two Rivers Community School Parent Teacher Network is the parent teacher association that includes every parent or guardian of a current TRCS student. The Parent Teacher Network strives to involve parents in meaningful ways to best support the educational experience of every student at TRCS.

The Parent Teacher Network became more or less defunct during the pandemic and we are trying to revive it for the 2022-23 school year. If you are interested in taking on a leadership role, please contact Michaela. We plan to meet after spring break to begin organizing for next year.
